Who we are?

MDAiD is an international medical foundation created to help and save the lives of injured ailing refugees and support their respective host communities.

Many of the board members are recovered victims of torture and political prisoners who were forced to flee their homeland as refugees and settled in North American and Europe. They are now empowered medical professionals and paying it forward to other refugees and their host communities.

MDAiD believes ongoing team effort is required to return a sense of dignity to victims of human rights violations in addition to restoring their physical and mental well-being. MDAiD also believes in supporting the host communities who are accepting these refugees. Working with refugees and host communities, MDAiD brings volunteers from both sides to deliver aid to all those in need.

MDAiD continues to expand in North America, Europe, and Australia. Doctors and medical professional members of MDAiD work as volunteers and are committed to universal humanitarian consciousness and Hippocratic Oath.

MDAiD aims be a catalyst for positive change. Founded in 2013, we’ve been driven by the same ideas to: support, empower, and build bridges between refugees and their host communities.

The founder, the Board of Directors and members of MDAiD are a group of physicians and specialists. All believe in the following motto:

“Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see”
